The website is designed to help flute players and teachers be the best they can be through proven methodologies. The main thrust of the series is on tone, expression, and interpretation with fundamental technical skills.
A beautiful tone and expressive style can be taught. There is a formula to these and if followed will result in the player achieving this objective. The members section has all the tools with detailed video guides by Eileen to assist the player and teacher.
Eileen is one of the greatest flute pedagogues that I have ever studied with. She is an absolute master when it comes to understanding and applying the fundamentals and core principles of flute playing. Eileen’s extensive knowledge is beautifully catalogued on this site with recordings, informational posts, and “mini lessons” on everything from harmonics to Moyse 24 Melodious Etudes. I have a membership and use it every single time I practice. It’s absolutely brilliant and has taken my playing to another level!
